Pastor's Pronouncement

 

The fellow who helps us in the garden is a nice enough bloke, he's never going to join Mensa or even read a book, but he is honest and hard working.

He gets a small disability pension $40 per week and as a result is rostered to do some volunteer work at a church. He has been doing this for some years and is often called to do things when needs arise. The church takes advantage of his good nature and he works way too many hours for the $40 They really exploit him any chance they get.

Anyway, the regular Pastor is currently overseas and is backfilled by a female Pastor. She rearranged his work and told him he had to do the shit jobs with the criminals doing community service. He objected and she threatened to report him to Social Security for fraud.

He went immediately to The SS office and withdrew his application for the money. On returning to the church he told the woman that she had just lost the best volunteer they had and he was leaving.

Her good Christian Pastor like response "Oh you're just a fucking arsehole!"
