Politicians

I get tired of people always bagging politicians.

It's a cheap insult that can't be brought home to roost as they can’t even protest that the baggers are being unfair. I know a few politicians on every level of government from Wayne Swan down to a couple of councillors. I have met three prime ministers a couple of state cabinet members on both sides of the political fence, These people work hard for an ordinary wage. They have no weekends no real holidays. Anywhere they go they run the chance of some looney rabitting on about the gutter outside of his house. They do not set their pay rates (theirs are tied to judges salaries in Australia)and they get crap pay anyway.

The guy who runs the state art gallery gets more money than the premier. If people don't like what politicians do either vote them out or stand yourself. This is a democracy. We NEED politicians.
