Goodbye 2013

To be honest, 2013 hasn't been a good year for me. Losing two dogs, disappointing house sale numbers, My sister's awful troubles Mrs Me's precarious work position and my own health concerns.

However there have been good things too, My daughter moving to BNE with grandsons, The birth of the twins to our dear friends Clay and Siobhan and the opportunity to be in their lives and watch them grow.

I love where we live, I love walking past my books each day. I have the best workshop I can think of.

And I have friends like you all. Friends who just on my asking, took time out of their lives to wish a stranger a happy birthday. Two of whom want to be my sister! Thank you all. Let's see what we can do to make 2014 a great year for all of us. And a better year for all those unnamed billions on the planet who have is so much worse than any one of us. Let's take it upon ourselves to build a better world. This I ask everyone, with the exception of Sarah who works way too hard and does way too much already.
