Burning the Bombs

Oh er.. just before I crash, I heard a little item on the ABC Radio National today... Readers may remember that in the middle of the last century, the Brits sent down to South Australia, a couple of those big nuclear bombs and blew them up out in the desert. Actually there were eleven and they made nine of them go bang. Where are the other two? De nuclearized and in some museum somewhere? Nope. This bloke was told to put them on a truck go out into the desert, burn and bury them. They are still there. 12 feet under a South Australian desert. burnt, (how does one burn a bomb encased in steel?)
