Dear arty people who spruik on the radio. Words have meanings. Just adding words into your regular sentences just makes you look like an idiot. Case in point. Woman who is sort of a hyper arty architect starts rabbiting on and throws in the phrase "The irreducible complexity of cities." This does not mean 'Cities are complex places with lots of small parts making the whole function.' It means that if you removed a single building or even a hot dog stand, the city would cease to function. Clearly this is bullshit.
Say anything more like it and your talking privileges will be revoked.
