Sometimes I wish the church was worse in its malevolent practices.
I wish it spewed its regular hate-slime from the pulpit and the media more often. I wish it would double its efforts to make people feel damaged and worthless. I wish it would continue to spout transparent nonsense about evolution, contraception, abortion, sex and homosexuality. Then maybe the believers amongst us will see that this emperor has no clothes. They will see through the lies to the filthy heart of the beast. They will reject religion and embrace reality.
Only then can Civilization move towards solving the problems between us rather than creating them.
