Today I shall give some advice for those seeking love. To avoid endless s/he and gender changing alternatives I will speak in terms of the gender you are seeking, so all LGTBT people can apply the advice as they see fit and be included like the rest of us.

When I was single I was looking to meet women and wasn't getting very far, the usual clubs and pubs are awful especially if you are like me and are interested in brains as well as bodies. Then I stumbled on a solution, I took a vegetarian cooking class and was surprised to find that those and all of the specialty cooking classes were full of women. The person seeking women in that environment has an instant introduction to every woman in the room and there are many of them. In one class I got three dates.
However, if you are seeking men then you should sign up for a basic cooking class. Here you have a distinct advantage over those seeking women. All of the men in an intro to cooking class are self selecting for your needs. They are mostly single as they don't have anyone to cook for them, plus they are willing to get off their arse and do something rather than wait for a partner to cook for them.

If you sign up for a class and there is no one you fancy, then approach the teacher explain that some issue has just come up and you can't attend the rest of the course "Could I transfer the credit to the next course?" Let us know how it goes
