The end of everything

So this is the way the universe ends. The Nobel prize for physics has been given two three guys who have devoted their scientific lives to chasing down dark energy. By studying exploding stars they have determined that not only is the universe expanding (known for ages courtesy of Edwin Hubble) but the expansion is accelerating. This means that the universe will continue to expand until every tiny bit of energy is expended. Nothing will ever move again, even electrons will stop, atoms will not move. The whole universe will be at absolute zero. One thing is sure though, whatever 'sees' this, won't be human.
