Britain went through the iron age and as a result there are the remains of thousands of little kilns and slag heaps scattered all over the island. The inhabitants of North America knew nothing about smelting iron so there are no ancient kilns found anywhere in the continent. Not one.
Mormon 'history' speaks of iron swords and chariots and a civilization that lasted a thousand years. And yet nothing remains. In contrast, Vikings made it across the North Atlantic and set up a few little villages in Newfoundland. They didn't leave much behind, enough to know who they were and how many lived there for how long.
But what is left behind from this Mormon civilization. Nothing. Nothing at all. Not a single architectural feature, no hearths, foundations, post holes have been found. No burials, no grave goods, no jewellery, no weapons, no buttons, no tablets, no writing, no painting, sculpture or other art. All we have is a book written by a convicted con man.
How is it that sane people can accept this hogwash?
